Valentina Leontyeva and the legendary TV show “Good night, kids!”

On August 1st , 1923, the legendary iconic TV presenter Valentina Leontyeva was born. Over the years of her work on television, the People’s Artist of the USSR hosted the morning show “Alarm Clock”, the festive “Blue Lights” and the touching “From the bottom of my heart”…  but for millions of viewers, first of all, she became the beloved “Aunt Valya” from the program “Good night, kids !”/ «Спокойной ночи, малыши!», a famous puppets show whose propose was to tell an evening story to every Soviet child before going to bed… “Good night, kids!” continues nowadays too, being one of the most beloved shows for children in Russia and Russian speaking world.
